About Dr. Lakovos Georgiou
Dr. Iakovos Georgiou is a plastic surgeon dedicated to helping patients with lipedema at all stages of the condition. He trained under Dr. Ghods, an internationally recognized expert in lipedema surgery, where he developed specialized skills in modern and effective treatment techniques.
Since 2023, he has been the Director of Plastic Surgery at the German Medical Institute in Limassol, Cyprus, where he founded a high volume international centre focused on lipedema care. He treats patients from across Europe and beyond, offering personalized treatment plans tailored to each individual’s needs.
