About Alyssa Woodbridge
My name is Alyssa Woodbridge and I am a Master’s student in the English Literature and Creative Writing program at the University of Windsor in Ontario. Working on a creative thesis project titled “The Centaur,” I am interested in the intersections of psychology and healthcare and poetry, or fostering space for a kind of “poetic medicine.” More specifically, as a person with lived experience with lipedema, I am interested in the use of experimental poetry as a way to examine the complexity of this condition.
