About Janelle-Marie Emond
Janelle-Marie Emond would love to share a little bit about her Lipedema story, and the journey she went on just to get a diagnosis, she just kept getting worse and even ended up becoming a wheelchair user but no one seemed to know what was wrong with her. Janelle-Marie went to doctor after doctor and was even admitted into the hospital so tests could be run, she finally got a diagnosis in August of 2021 after being so sick on and off from 2019. She ended up becoming a full-time wheelchair user. She has been quite active in sharing about Lipedema to everyone and anyone who will listen and would love to share with the patients and clinicians.
